Even when I feel so tired sometimes, I want to have you by my side
Donghyun heaved his many bags through the tiny door to their tiny dorm. The five other boys followed behind him, dropping their things on the kitchen floor and heading to the bedrooms to get some much-needed sleep. It had been go, go, go nonstop lately, with promotions heating up. The group hadn't had a day's rest in what seemed like forever.
Donghyun made his way to the fridge, not that there was a lot in it. They didn't get to spend a lot of time in the dorm, so they didn't have a need to grocery shop on a regular basis. Donghyun found an old carton of milk that luckily wasn't expired, grabbed a pot from beneath the sink and began warming the milk on the stove.
He was just about to take his drink and settle down for the night when he turned and saw Minwoo, asleep at the kitchen table.
Donghyun chuckled to himself and tip-toed toward the maknae. He gently shook his shoulder until he stirred awake, blinking his big brown eyes in confusion.
"Ehh, hyung, did I fall asleep?"
Donghyun laughed, helping the maknae to his feet. "Minwoo-yah, come on, let's get you to bed."
Donghyun steered the sleepy boy to the room the two of them shared and directed him to the bed. He pulled off Minwoo's sneakers and lightly pushed him down onto the bed, his hands lingering on his shoulders before sliding down his arm to grasp the top of the blanket. Donghyun brought the covers up to Minwoo's chin and turned to leave. He was stopped, though, by Minwoo's small hand grabbing his wrist, pulling him back to face him.
"Hyung," Minwoo started, then yawned and rubbed at his eye. "Hyung, could you -"
Donghyun shushed him, and rolling his eyes, crawled onto the bed and under the bedcovers, the youngest snuggling closer. Minwoo sighed contentedly as Donghyun stroked his hair, the pair of them soon drifting off into dreamland.
