I apologize for any grammatical errors or typos I make in this post. It's currently 3:32 in the morning, and my eyes already hurt. This entry is very scattered and rant-filled, but it is really worth reading. I encourage you all read it, for this is the only entry I feel the need to make 'public

Communism will live on! Just had to say that, first of all.

But I only choose to donate to places that I know are reputable. Really, as much everyone likes to think that there are those organizations that steal money or keep some for themselves, I really doubt there are as much as the mind would like to think.

But, most organizations donate to those who help themselves, giving presents to families who inquire about presents, or providing shelter and food to those who come in and take the initiative. I personally have never seen a bum stumbling into a soup kitchen or a McRest event. Most homeless people are not heroine-addicts or drunken bums--they are people just down on their luck, or have come across really horrible times. Most drug dealers are financially secure, which is why they do it in the first place... so I doubt they're going to be looking for help. This is all based on my experiences, of course.

And the small percentage of drunken bums and heroine addicts that don't have something mentally wrong with them, they need no

I really didn't stereotype everyone. I just didn't feel the need to mention the other side of the situation, the small amount of people that actually care about others. The post was directed towards the general population. Obviously I do not think that every single person is a horrible individual, so I didn't bother to acknowledge them in such a negative post.
