Dear LJ,

Looking back on you, I realise that I have been (inadvertently) subjecting the world to a deluge of adolescent angst. Even though I kept my best intentions (from "no one reads this," in the beginning to "as long as it is creatively expressed without the usual cliches then I can walk a fine line,") I think there are times when we need to ( Read more... )

Lovely writing. You are an inspiration.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your day-to-day life, too. Even if you can't talk about your job, alas! Cruel are the ways of non-disclosure agreements.

Thank you! You are an inspiration to me - do you think Desert angels will ever be written? Or that Frontier Naruto fic we started? ;)

Hee. Well, as much fun as I had writing it, I don't think that Naruto fic is likely to ever be finished. I hold out hope, though, that one day the Desert Angels thing will eventually be reworked into a new (and less sucky) form.

Very nice - in a way it reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes, where Calvin starts writing letters to his future self. he congratulates himself on having learnt that little bit more than he has yet managed, and wonders at what he will have seen in the mean time. Yet it's still from the p.o.v. of a 5 year old (if a surprisingly intelligent and imaginative one) so the comparison ends there.

Pity about the NDA, but you shoulod still let us know where you are and the general gist of what you're doing.

I will try to! Of course I can talk about most things, it's just I wouldn't want to write it down here.

Haha, I might have to check out that comic. I used to write letters to my future self when I was small - did you? I also remember opening them up and thinking "This is... horrendous!" ;)
