Ok, first week of classes over for moi. Monday was supposed to be the crazy day- from 9:30am to 9:15 at night and pulling 18 credits. After the first 5 classes I decided Forensic Psych could wait (especially since its PSY 496 and that means its a Senior level class and more work than I'll have time for). I'll take it next semester if its offered

actually, it always was supposed to be an Ancient History course, it was just meant to Focus on Greece and Rome....the ancient mesopotamians, specifically the persians, the european barbarians, and then the egyptians are very necessary background cultures necessary to understand the Greeks and Romans. And he isn't a new professor they hired, he's Prof. Snyder, head of the History and Politics dept. and probably one of the best ancient/medieval history teachers on the east coast. I think they were supposed to find someone else to teach it originally so that he could devote his time to his more medieval-oriented specialty classes. I'm F'ing honored to be taught by this guy....and i know sociology too, i've lived and breathed these cultures my whole life...still nice to have someone pretty to sit next too..

Ok, I meant "new" as in- they JUST hired him to teach THIS course. I know he works here but he wasn't SUPPOSED to teach this class. He said himself, before you got there, that he got mad at them for calling the class "Greek and Roman History", he didn't want it called that because its mislabeling. Anyway, I've heard all that before- I know he's a great professor and that this stuff is your life. You're a dork...but I love you
