Ah, sweetheart, it's my turn to entertain you, and I thought I'd be English at you.

I especially chose today, because it's St George's Day, and the English are utter rubbish at marking it.

It would also have been my mother's 83rd birthday. She was just two days younger than Queen Elizabeth and very proud of the fact.

Oh my god, I love Proms! Although in about a month, every high school band in America will mangle "Hope and Glory" as we all graduate to it, though we call it Pomp and Circumstance here.

Pomp and Circumstance is the name of the music as far as I know and Land Of Hope And Glory is the name when it has the words to it.

This is full of wonderful stuff! I have to say that I never knew the Beatles did a Midsummer Night's Dream. And the other Shakespeares. And Driving Lessons!!! And the proms were excellent, as was the Over-the-top picspam. And Dan talking about Cricket is just about the cutest thing ever!
