Oh boy, apparently you're not true fan of The Violinist of Hameln unless you bawl about how bad the TV series was on your Tumblr. I was doing an LJ search, trying to work out what Zuko Violinist of Hameln was (still don't know) and this entry came up.
However, I wanted to stop by and say they I loved the anime. I love it more than the manga. don't get me wrong, the manga is good too, but something about the anime and how it ended really touched me, whereas the manga sorta ended exactly as I expected it too.
So you are not the only VoH fan who doesn't hate the anime :D

I've been thinking, hiding away hasn't really help me emotionally so I am thinking about attempting the 30 day Voh challenge, but I'll just have to brace myself for the potential negativity. To know that there is one more fan out there gives me a little bit more confidence. Thank you ^-^

The haters are insanely vocal and I just, I got on the bad side of a few to the point that I had to leave the fandom so a while :/ So I get kinda hanging back!

I know a few people that are trying to make the fandom more open but I think they get tired of the negativity and fall silent as well. Kashaun on Tumblr is the one I've seen to be the most active recently. Can ask of you to send them an ask to say, "hi, I like both versions of VoH"? I'm sure knowing there's another fan who enjoys both will brighten their day :)
