I'm not in New York any more and pretty much everything is less magical than rock camp and all those girls blew my mind and now I don't know what to do besides go to sleep. see you tomorrow.

Willie Mae rock camp for girls is a week long camp for girls 8-17 where they get to take instrument lessons and form bands and do workshops on all kinds of cool music related stuff and its all run by women. I was a counselor and a band coach for 8 and 9 year olds. i'll probably post more about it later, but in short it's the most amazing, community and self esteem building thing I've ever experienced. it's awesome.
