I decided to do more research on the colleges based on the knowledge that 8% of the appealees get accepted after appealing.  Basically, rarely does UCSD redo admissions unless to fulfill spots that were ACTUALLY left open.  Since they usually overadmit, usually there are no other spots.  My grounds for appeal: my grades were calculated wrong and I ( Read more... )

I found out I made it into 2/3 of the colleges to which I applied.
UCSD is still pending.
At least I'm going to college?  In a pretty place too.  Hopefully with a slightly more Caucasian base than UCI or UCD...
