Well, my cold is just about gone. It sure took its freaking time. It swindled me out of, what, a whole seven days of my life? And lo, my last week of summer vacation commences.
Here's a Good Taste: I got A's in both my summer classes. Now doesn't THAT taste good.
I have never, EVER drawn a background for my characters. After doing this one, I don't think I ever will again. It might look like I stuck a filter on a photograph, but that entire backdrop is HAND-FREAKING-PAINTED, y'all. I spent so much time on it; whenever I closed my eyes I saw rocks being texturized and blended with the Photoshop smudge tool. :O
