Ah, Gwen, as oblivious as always to anything that doesn't directly involve her.

Why does she think everyone should tell her every personal thing that's going on in their lives? Perhaps because she tells everyone all about her relationship with Rhys, even if they don't want to know. People sometimes say Jack has no boundaries, but I think it's Gwen who doesn't. She has no respect for the privacy of others, or their right to keep personal things to themselves.

Good to see Jack putting her firmly and decisively in her place. As for the gifts, touristy stuff for Owen and Tosh (she couldn't have put a bit of thought into their gifts?), a tie for Ianto, and a probably expensive antique for Jack (bet Rhys didn't know she bought that!) Really shows who she favours, doesn't it? I wonder if Jack's finally seeing Gwen without his rose coloured glasses, he certainly doesn't like what he's seeing! I really find Gwen's behaviour here completely believable and in character!
