hang in there...it's autumn and things are changing, and it's never always for the better...it helps me, anyway, to realize that the world affects my emotions in all kinds of subtle ways, and that sometimes all I can do -- or all I need to do -- is just roll with it, watch TV if I'm depressed, do push-ups if I'm anxious, and make the best of it until, inevitably, things change again.

I know you're fighting this with everything you have. I'm better with BPD than I am with bi-polar, so all I can really offer is to focus on something. Look at something you really feel strongly about. Maybe a picture you always wanted to draw but felt you lacked the skill to do it justice, or a letter to the editor about an issue that's chafing your chaps. sit down in front of the paper, and imagine a brass ring flaoting somewhere between you and the page. Into that ring, pour all those feelings that are trying to overwhelm your mind, all that...extra you.
What that brass ring does, by the way, is focuses and tightens that emotional tidal wave into distilled, guided passion. Like a laser, this passion will allow you to release incredible amounts of emotional stress in a way that's almost productive, or at least fun.
I came up with this technique while helping my youngest deal with her incredible levels of teen angst. I don'y know if it will work, but all you really have to lose is a piece of paper. I hope this helps!
