There are brief flashes of razzle-dazzle, the occasional cloud of confetti, and even a few doves flitting into the sky, and the crowd applauds every now and then as she unleashes trick after trick

[Sanzo doesn't like noise or crowds, so he waits until after the show is over to approach. He was originally going to complain about the magic show and insist that you do it somewhere else, but... you look upset.]

[Was watching the WHOLE TIME from a safe distance, having left her house to hobble around town out of boredom. By now her scars are back in full and she no longer needs the bandages Coquelicot treated her with, but she's decided to keep them on for a little longer in hopes of provoking random sympathy.

BUT ANYWAY it looks like Coquelicot is down in the dumps for whatever reason, so she's just gonna walk on up to her for a wee chat. But she won't ask what's the loli's beef just yet, 'cause that would be ~*~impolite~*~ ]

That was a fine performance. Where did you learn such tricks?

[And she turns that frown upside-down.] ... thanks! I was raised at a circus, so I've been learning stage tricks for most of my life.

A circus? What might that be, exactly?

It's a place where people go to have fun! Circus performers put on shows for the audience- kind of like what I was doing, but with more tricks and animals and amazing feats.
