Iell-nin, I've seen kinslayings, a continent break-of and sink beneath the waves, the dragon that ravaged my lands adopted briefly as a pet by my nephew, I've seen my brothers re-housed as women and I've give birth. Trust me, at this point, NOTHING can surprise me.

I'm still finding the concept of having two sets of parents hard to get my head around.

I suppose the only advice I can give is 'give it time.' You're not alone in being rehoused to different parents, it happens quite a lot. You'll get to grips with it, I'm sure.
