We're getting there!

This weekend, I finished up (for the most part) the painting of the entry hall and dining room, and scrubbed all the paint off the floors.  I've got a few minor touch-ups to do, and I need to dust the chandelier (while I have the table out from under it) and pie safe.  I'm so glad that's done!  Now we just have to wait for our dining room furniture

Okay, I have to ask this and look like a dodo. What the heck is a pie safe? I'm going to also ask my friend Google.

A pie safe is an antique-ish piece that people used to store their pies in to let them cool. I suppose it kept the pies safe from birds, etc.
