Last time I checked Belle and Sebastian have been around for a very long time and everyone likes them. They totally appeal to the least common denominator, and they aren't "indie" by anyone's definition. Go listen to something not in Spin magazine.
Ummm...I'm kinda puzzled by this. I could list the shows I'm planning on going to in the next two months (Calla, Islands, RJD2, Of Montreal, The Books, Animal Collective, Ted Leo) or the albums I'm listening to right now (Run The Road Vol 2, Alaska!, Grandaddy, Islands, Jens Lekman, Nous Non Plus).
