New Trials

Does anyone know how long this hair dye is expected to last? I was hoping it was temporary but the vibrancy doesn't seem to be fading...

I really must be less careless with my hygiene products in the future.

...Shampoo comes out of the bottle suddenly neon; does nobody find that strange enough to not rub into their hair?

The shower rooms can be unfortunately steamy when I'm in there and can make it difficult to see, especially when I don't have my glasses on.

Nearsighted...? How bad, if even colors cannot be properly discerned... unless the base color was pink to begin with, I wouldn't know.

There was also the steam.

You could always dye it back to whatever colour you wish.

I was hoping it would've faded by now.

It may be permanent dye instead of the semi-permanent or temporary kinds.

That is what I'm starting to think.

If you keep using the same bottle of tampered shampoo, of course your hair is going to stay whatever color it was dyed.

....

ooc: Tez has no idea what to say to that... he's just sort of mentally headdesking and wondering if Taki's an idiot or if he thinks Tezuka is.

Dyes usually last for about two-three weeks, depending on the strength and the colour. The lighter the colour, the harder it is to get rid of, because most lighter hair dyes contain bleach. However, darker hair dyes wash out much faster and you can strip the hair if you get desperate.

That is, if you're talking about temporary dyes. There's really no way that permanent dye will ever fade, unless you regrow your hair. ^^;

Thank you. I think I will visit the salon to get it professionally corrected.

That works too. Salons are usually pretty expensive though, which is why I usually do it myself, but yeah, dealing with dyes and things can be pretty tricky if you don't have experience.

A necessary expense. I'm sure my parents will pay for it.
