"Hey, Mirage, you have a guest!" Thundercracker called, walking into the large shared quarters.
"A guest?" the blue and white Autobot asked, looking up from feeding Visitant. The purple and blue sparkling was quiet demanding... a lot like its carrier, who was currently getting interfaced quite senseless by Soundwave and Starscream in the actual berth room. Seeing the dark blue and red form coming in behind the eldest Seeker, Mirage's face broke into a grin. "Trailbreaker! What are you doing here?"
Looking rather uncomfortable, Trailbreaker shrugged a little. "I... well, I wanted to... see you. And, ah..." He jumped a little, looking towards the door to the berth room. Mirage couldn't blame him, Starscream was currently living up to his name. Soundwave's doing, to go by the name being shrieked.
"They'll quiet down soon enough," Mirage said. "Have you, ah, that is... This is Visitant. Stormsweep's over there, it's the one I actually carried. I..."
Thundercracker shook his head just a little. He knew he should have told Mirage when he got the call from Trailbreaker, but... Thundercracker still thought it was good the other Autobot was here. And Mirage was adorable showing off the winglet... Picking up the recharging Stormsweep, Thundercracker traced his finger against the small cassette-wings. "They're in cassette forms now, but we'll change that when we can. Would you like to hold it?"
"Me? But-" Trailbreaker didn't know what to say, staring up at the Seeker, who continued to hold the white and purple sparkling out.
"Go on. I know you won't hurt it, and the practice will be good when you get your own. You might need to come to us for winged bodies, though. You and Mirage have a high chance of producing Seekers."
Mirage groaned a little at Thundercracker's words. True, sure they were, but... "We hadn't got to that point, TC! Augh, Seekers!"
"Well, it's not my fault you were taking it slow! Autobots!" Thundercracker was grinning, and he grinned even wider when Trailbreaker took the offered sparkling. Probably to avoid 'listening' to the conversation, but that didn't bother the blue Seeker any.
A particularly musical groan interrupted the bickering, and Trailbreaker whimpered a little, going to Mirage and pressing close while trying to look like he was the one giving comfort. "Are they... I thought Seekers were arrogant and rude! Not like..."
Shrugging a little, Mirage nodded. Visitant started chewing his finger, and Mirage wondered whom it had got that particular quirk from. It seemed to chew a lot... "Yeah, they... really are, I think they even embarrass 'Wave from time to time, but of course I can't be sure. They're, um... very good, though."
"Hey, Mirage..." Thundercracker started.
"Oh, slag no. You're grinning! What horrible thing are you contemplating now, TC?" Mirage asked, wrapping his free arm around Trailbreaker, much to Visitant's disgust. He had relaxed about physical... contact a lot here, the Towers-mech realized.
"Well. With you, and 'Warp, and me all carrying, it might be... helpful, to have someone around to... help, when the time comes..." Thundercracker said, still grinning in a manner far too innocent to be mistaken for the real thing.
"Of course, you all would have a fit if I spark any other way when I leave, too..." Mirage answered, ignoring Trailbreaker's confusion. Mostly ignoring it... he decided that his friend looked far too adorable that way and kissed him, which only left Trailbreaker more confused, but decidedly happier.
Thundercracker nodded. "You're going to spark winglets. Winglets are sparked in one way. Look at how much better Ratbat is, anyway, you really do want to do it. And it's more fun for you..." The Seeker leered.
"Yes. Yes, it is more fun..." Mirage agreed.
