Pikes Peak and other Colorado stuff

So have spent since Thursday in Colorado and I like it. The thin air kinda sucks but been told I will get used to it After a while. Piles
Peak really sucked, elevation 14k, I actually saw my pulse in my eyes as a sort distortion after walking 100ft. Who took the air out of my air? It was incredible sight seeing though, clear day in the upper 40s, ( Read more... )

I hear you on the altitude issues. Actually driving to CO I had a lot less problems than flying there. It was as if the gradual climb from StL to CO allowed my body to be able to cope more once I got there. Which mean that venturing further west with the dramatic altitude shift was easier to deal with.

So I gotta say, FANTASTIC. I think this move, while difficult at first, is going to do great things for you in particular.

Enjoy your time there. Was in Telluride a few weeks ago and it was lovely. Good luck on the move.
