Came through Rita fine, thanks to the last-minute swerves to the east, all we had was some impressive winds and a bit of rain. Thank God, because this city is bursting at the seams with evacuees from both Katrina and Rita. My lower back is killing me and my ovaries must be destroyed, before my uterus bursts forth in an Alien-inspired display of bloody, brutal carnage and takes off running down the highway towards downtown and the state capitol, screaming, "Death! Death! Death!"
