Stupidest Idea Ever

Apparently there is a setting on my phone which makes it change the song I'm listening to every time I shake the phone; this means that when I put my phone in my pocket on the way home it changed the song I was listening to every time I took a step. That's just plain annoying

You really are confused. The singing from the phone is actually PEOPLE singing to you. You listen to music on the Victrola.
