You know what? I am glad it is a leap year. Because if it were not then Pasaach would be March 20, instead of April 20. However, the end of February does sound nice.

I believe that you can blame it on the solar system. However, if you are looking for a person to blame, you better start pointing your finger at Pope Gregory XIII. He implemented the Gregorian calendar with leap year every four years to make up for the fact that the solar year is six hours longer than 365 days. February was chosen as the month for the extra day in order to keep the spring equinox on March 21.
