In the car last night my daughter Katherine was telling me of her night at a fundraiser. She was talking about her costume that she was wearing and said most of what she was wearing wasn't even her clothes. The skirt and cape was from her 21 year old sister and her shoes belonged to her 38 year old mom.

My friend Max was telling me that he had taken to bribing his mom, who's a costume maker for a children's theater by trade, to finish his doublet so he could wear it the coming weekend to the Renaissance festival.
