I'm not a parent, but the one thing that really bothers me about this is how he makes it about him. The whole implicit "How dare YOU do this to ME." The message should be you don't treat anyone like that -- but he shifts the focus and puts it upon himself, and how he's been wronged. That's almost as petty and childish as what he's accusing her of doing. :/
