Aw thanks! I am pretty excited about the Tut exhibit because I can always go to a museum with Jaden. They are fairly baby friendly, which is nice for me!

I told Paul that if they made an adult sized swing like that, I am sure I would fall asleep in it too! :)

Cozy! Somebody needs to start manufacturing adult-sized rocker-swings; had I one of these in my living room, I'd be a lot less fussy, too.

King Tut exhibit? Very cool. :)

Seriously! Why don't they make them for adults too? (we might never get out)

I actually dont know yet, I imagine the crowds will be really bad at the very beginning & at the very end (like with the Da Vinci exhibit a few years back).. I might go mid-week since I'm only like 10min away from LACMA.

yeah, mid-week is probably the best. I may try for a weekday too, if I can handle going down there in traffic by myself. With a baby it's never easy though.

HAHA....oh we TOTALLY got that swing! (ours was a different version...some "Ocean Lullaby" or something. But the versatile swinging action was AWESOME!!!! We used it alll the time. I did a whole post on it too...it did so many things, it cracked me up. Music! Mobile! Lights! Swing forward! Swing sideways! Wolfie loved it.
Of course my aunt made me paranoid about having him swing to fast too often ("it can't be good for him, his poor little head!" greeeeeat. thanks. this thing saves my life and you make me paranoid about it!). OH! And i swear on the very lowest setting, it would swing like CRAZY! I couldn't imagine putting it up on setting 6 or 7! But as he got bigger, we totally were able to crank it up.

As for King Tut. HOW COOL! You have to go! I was obsessed with him he first went on tour. (well, when his stuff went on tour in the 70s). So interesting, huh!!

Yeah, this swing does a lot too! It's really cool. It's got little birds and leaves that twirl around and go up and down at the top and a mirror for him to look up at. It plays music and also has nature sounds. I love this thing.

I am determined to go to the Tut exhibit, although I don't know exactly when yet. Come to LA and you can go with me! heh.

i think your swing is the Newer Better version of ours. We had fishes instead of birds....and we had ocean sounds. Yours looks like it's more cushy thougH! heehee....did you ever think, back in the day when we were doing shots of Jaeger, that we would be talking about BABY SWINGS?!?!
