missing you

~*So I am just saying hi.  I miss all of you, here. I have no time to do a real update right now. As it is, I am writing this, and it's eating into dinner prep time, and I'm hungry. Jaden hardly sleeps at all in the daytime anymore, and then gets fussy from about 4pm-10pm or so.  Right now, he is napping, and I am thankful.  I guess it's a stage ( ( Read more... )

It's hot and gross here too (only hits about 90 but we do humidity MUCH better than you guys in California do and humidity is just gross. Can't breathe. Sweat just sitting still. Yuck).

The movie thing sounds like fun. And you won't have non-kid-understanding people (like me) looking over when he spits up, yells or whatever babies do when you are trying to watch a movie (JOKE JOKE -- NOBODY CAN TAKE A JOKE ANYMORE -- Not Even Wiggy tonight -- he and I got into a fisticuffs on LJ, isn't that silly?).

Anyway -- have fun. Try to read. If you miss something then you can catch up later or not. You have more important things to do than read about how I did 25 reports today. That's my Gram's job to know that and give me high fives. Its your job to be Jaden's mom and give HIM high fives. (so he can yap about YOU on LJ someday). I'm a dork.

You know what though, you are right? I am just trying to do everything that I usually do, and they include things that makes me happy.

Don't worry--I know when you are joking. You don't have to justify not being into kids/babies anyway. It's your perogative. I'm just glad that you support your buddies who are into kiddles.

Yes, I'm glad my friends/kiddle people get me and don't get offended just b/c I am not on the same path in life as they are.

Seriously though -- your job is to make Jaden's life good just like my Gram made MY life good. We (your LJ friends) are superfluous fluff for when Jaden is sleeping to keep you company and make you happy. My Gram did things for me when I was 4 years old that I still remember with amazing clarity -- like taught me to write my name. You are doing that for Jaden (well, not now but soon). This is what's important for you. So certainly don't feel bad if you miss a post for heaven's sake! Hell, even the anti-kid person gets that!

I know, but I just like to keep up! I can't help it. It's just me.

I have similiar memories of my dad/mom and grandma too. My grandma bought me my first
x-mas tree b/c she thought I should have one. (We were Jewish, and were not supposed to have one). I have been very non-jewish ever since! heh.

Hi Sweetie! Have a great time tomorrow and try to enjoy the movie. You are going through a rough time and you are going to get through it. Thanks for updating at all with your hands so full!

Lots of love and we'll talk soon!

Thanks Elizabeth. Yeah, it's tough, and sometimes I just want to lay down and not wake up for like 3 days--but I can't. I guess writing is somewhat cathartic/therapuetic for me. I am so determined to enjoy the movie. I just need to zone out for a while, I think. :)

107?? It's nearly that here in the valley, too. I can't stand it. I feel like a blob, unable to do anything. yucky.
