I'm with you too, sweetie. Soon I'll be mobile and be able to go out and do stuff with you and we can both get some fresh air and new scenery.

Oh and JOANN's HAS SOCK YARN! How's that for new and fabulous?? They have some on sale this week, Deborah Norville yarn! It comes in different weights and blends, chunky, worsted, and fingering, and the sock yarn is just YUM. They are also carrying sock yarns from Bernat, Patons and their house brand, Sensations. Right now its all self striping stuff but the colors are pretty. The DN is just beautiful, soft and light. I can't wait to see what the socks turn out like!

Right now they have the Deborah Norville on sale for $3.99 a ball. It takes two balls to make an adult size pair of socks. The others are $5.99. BUT, the Bernat SOX is a 100 gm ball instead of 50gm, so its enough for a whole pair.

For a big chain to carry sock yarn is HUGE, to me at least. These are good brands. They aren't the higher end handpainted boutique yarns, but they are affordable for those of us who like this kind of thing but have a limited budget.

It is huge and it's something I'm excited about as well..I love me the handpainted boutique yarn and I treat myself to it whenever I can but this stuff is good for when things are lean and I need something new!

I almost never sign into LJ, but you know how to reach me and I'm there for you if you need me. You know that.

Ya know though, honestly, I'm childfree and I avoid the childfree groups because of the scary people. Being childfree should not mean being taste-free, being anti-human, or being a disgusting pig of a skeeze, but some people take everything too far. Not all of us are.

I know hon *hug* and I try to have convo's with you that do not revolve around my kids and what is going on with them.

It's just..worrying to see pics of aborted fetus' with 'Abortions is for lovers' or to think that people are calling kids..especially mine 'crotchdroppings' or something.

bothers me. I know it shouldn't but it does.

I know. I have read similar kinds of crap from people who absolutely don't want children, and I am squicked out by it too. I can't imagine seeing stuff like that. yuck.

I understand that they are annoyed by people who have kids and think they are the center of the world, or being pressured to have kids, or to deal with kids who are not disciplined or brought up right.

I am angry about those things too.

But all children and all people are not the same..and I just..it bothers me to see people treating anyone's kids like that..but if someone said that about my kids? it would hurt me so badly
