Yesterday, my father, while txting me from his new Iphone....

informed me that he is on Facebook.

He also was surprised and disappointed I was not there as well.

God help us all.

my parents wouldn't ever go that far but they DID get a Wii which blew me away (why not when I was a kid and wanted a gaming system??? argh).

facebook is fun! it's bizarre and freaky and joyful to find out how many old friends you can find or find you. :D

I'm getting the boy a Wii soon I think..I am sure he will enjoy it....

as for facebook? no thanks..I've got Livejournal a wordpress and twitter..oh and myspace..how many ways do people need to get ahold of me!?

My Dad just joined Twitter (he was already signed onto but not using FaceBook), but he's said he thinks it's just another way to post more nothings. Hrm. I'm saying that badly, but basically his thought was it's useful for advertising/site traffic and blithering. Living in each others' pocketses. That sort of thing.

Honestly, I can't argue!
