Anyone else see this? Please don't tell me that Joaquin's cheese just took a public nose dive off his cracker. I really -liked- him. I thought he was a good actor! However I will say that Letterman was fucking brilliant with this 'We owe Farrah Fawcett an apology" Hee ( Read more... )

I watched about 3 minutes of it, before I HAD to turn it off.

I thought Dave had a drug testing policy put in. if he didn't he should.

The reports around and about are that it's real, at least as far as anyone knows. Certainly Letterman wasn't in on it - he was horrified by Phoenix's behavior. I don't know if you've seen pictures of him from more than 3 months ago, but it looks as if he's gained about 30 pounds or more, and hasn't showered in most of that time. Perhaps the weight is dirt related. In any case, I'm horribly disappointed. I liked him as an actor, too, but this is apparently his time to follow in his brother's footsteps. Sigh.
