I miss the mix-tape era. Maybe I was a young impressionable eighth grader, or I've simply over romanticized the process of making a mix-tape, but there was a certain emotion, this tangible amount of yourself that you left as a hidden track when you made a tape for someone

i used to make mix tapes, but never for anyone but myself. they never had such sophisticated playlists such as yours. i dont think 16 songs would fit on a tape, either. maybe i'm wrong.

you should try making a tape for someone, its a spiritual and cathartic experience (that just reminded me of the short lived, ill willed, thrash metal band I had in high school called "Catharsis")
