I miss the mix-tape era. Maybe I was a young impressionable eighth grader, or I've simply over romanticized the process of making a mix-tape, but there was a certain emotion, this tangible amount of yourself that you left as a hidden track when you made a tape for someone ( Read more... )

i used to make mix tapes, but never for anyone but myself. they never had such sophisticated playlists such as yours. i dont think 16 songs would fit on a tape, either. maybe i'm wrong.

well let's pretend this is a magic tape...or maybe the magic is that the tape has TWO sides...

you should try making a tape for someone, its a spiritual and cathartic experience (that just reminded me of the short lived, ill willed, thrash metal band I had in high school called "Catharsis")

i'll be your test subject if it suits you...

i know something that's better than a magic tape with two sides.
it's a Brandon that replies twice and then deletes one, "sweetheart".

i had lots more witty and biting comments about your past bands and making mix tapes for you (ha)

I'm for any activity that involves intentional handwriting, just as long as you gave your mix tapes away sooner than that Mother's Day card. I still think you'll be the first employee of the kelly's kards emporium -- especially with that origami camera skill. You're going places...

As long as I get medical, dental, a healthy christmas bonus and I can drink on the job; you'll never be short on cameras that don't actually look like cameras.
