Are there ANY private colleges in California that are not centered around "promoting traditional Christian values and living life with a close affinity to Jesus Christ?" There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I do not want religion to play any part in my college education (except for optional religious classes). We won't even start on ( Read more... )

Uhh....most schools that talk about religion in their description, frankly, do not focus on it at all.

I want to go to Harvey Mudd, a private school (one of the Claremonts), and the people there are most definitely not religious. At all.

please don't go to harvey mudd. claremont colleges are great, but harvey mudd is just predominantly sex deprived, horny, nerdy guys.

university of the redlands. my sister almost went there - it's a beautiful college in southern california. it's actually one of the schools i'm interested in.

Do your parents a favor and go to a UC. I didn't and I regret it.

I got into all the UCs, including the Berkeley engineering program, but I decided to go to an expensive private school (due to the whole "it's really the fuck far away" thing) and made my parents pay out the ass.

All the UCs wouldn't give fuck-all about religion, even if they could, which they can't.

Why do I read this blog so much? I don't know you or your friends. Am I that bored? What the fuck? Could I swear anymore?
