Marat was much better tonight. I don't know what went on when I wasn't there, but someone must have said something to the cast about their behavior last night, because everyone was 1000% nicer, and listened, and that meant I didn't have to be a dick (except to amanda, who still didn't listen to me), and that put me in a better mood

and i wasn't just sitting there - i was finishing my make-up, which i can't do in a crowded backstage aread that is dark.
i don't go out until 7:30, so it is okay for me to wait in 131 for a while. besides, the more people there are backstage, the louder it is and harder it is to get focused and in character.
i appreciate you exercising your authority as stage manager, but really, my actions were perfectly okay, and chances are, i will not go backstage at 7:00 on friday or saturday either.

b) wendell told me to get everyone backstage. he didn't say "get everyone backstage but amanda, she can take longer than everyone else." he said "get ALL the actors backstage." I take orders from him, not you.
c) even if you plan on staying in 131, i still plan on telling you to get backstage when wendell wants you there.
d) i wasn't being "passive aggressive." that would be the case if my entire purpose of writing this entry was centered around you reading it, but it wasn't. i write it for me, not for other people's reactions.
