All's fair in love and pool parties

Graduation was yesterday, and in retrospect all I remember is being very, very hot. As I drove to the school with my cap and gown in the backseat and The Righteous Brothers playing on the radio, I began to feel very emotional about graduating. This was the first time I felt this way, mind you. Then I got to the school and it was like ninety ( Read more... )

Interesting read, Joey.

Yes, during the sirens, my family (most of the males, anyway) was on the sidewalk trying to catch a glimpse of a funnel cloud. The females were taking cover in the basement. Then, it feel like somebody dumped a 5-gallon bucket of water on us when the rain started in. We decided to head in after that.

Anyway, have fun at Bradley. I'll be joining you in three years.

i was quite annoyed when they all started clapping so loud for katie fisher. yea so she almost died doens't mean that she deserves more attention than anyone else. i am sure there are plenty of other people that have almost died too. did they get that kind of applause? no?

ha.

and if my graduation is going to be that hot..im not going.
i almost fainted..and i couldn't imagine what it was like in one of those graduation gowns with clothes on underneath them.

haha oh yea you probably have no idea who i am. but i feel the need to comment

Yeah you didn't see anybody clapping for Matt Robitske, and he's been that way his entire fucking life. I guess what separates Matt and Katie is that Matt didn't have the opportunity to be a stuck-up drunk at any point during his life. This is such a taboo topic, but I would love for someone to tell me why she was so deserving of that spectacle. Yes, she did go from virtually a vegetable to a handi-capable Peanuts impressionist, but what about all the other people who went through a lot of shit over the last couple of years? There are kids in that school who have been through some horrible things, and they didn't tell anyone about it, and they didn't get their own assembly telling their friends that they're jerks for not hanging out with them, they didn't get posters all over the school telling people to pray for them, and they certainly weren't nominated prom queen because of it ( ... )

I wish I could have been there to clap for Matt Robitske. I will give him credit. That kid was able to take my 300 pound ass to the ground. Matt Stonecipher told him I was Mr. Prefect the dead wreslter or that I was batman, I can't remember, and then he hit me in the ear.

Those were fun times with Matt in PE. I remember him cheap-shotting Dan and kicking the volleyball pole.

As for Nori...I was able to watch him during the ceremony. The guy seemed to have no clue where he was at.
