holy shit kids.
I know Obama was the favorite but conservative america has never ceased to surprise me.
im shocked/surprised/proud that so many people turned out to vote.
in the last election i waited maybe 10 minutes to vote. certainly not hours

Whee America.
Always a trip.
I was watching CNN with some friends...totally ready for the long haul to wait until 1am when all the polls had finally closed. But, the anchor said, "Well, the polls in the West are about to close. They close at 11pm Eastern Time which is in roughly 10 seconds...(10 second pause)...and the next President-Elec is Barack Obama."
We all screamed "What?? That easy??" Remembering the last 2 elections which were hell on wheels.
There were actually people screaming, crying and dancing in the streets...it was totally insane.

I would have loved to been there. the images on CNN were almost enough to make me cry. o americans.

I waited for 45min, not too bad. The werid thing was there was no one standing out front promoting anyone except this one man screaming that Nader was the right man for the job... I was amused for that 45min.
