Starting chain : ch 35, dc in 8th ch from hook, *ch 2, sk 2 ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from *, to end of base chain. ch 5 turn
Row 2: DC in dc, *ch 2, dc in next dc. Repeat from * across, ch 2, last dc in turning chain below. Ch 5 turn.
Rows 3 thru 6: Repeat row 2
Thumb hole shaping:
Row 7: dc in first dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) twice, (3 ch2 blocks made) ch 2, 5 sl in ch, ch, dc, ch, ch in row below, ch 2, dc in next dc, *ch 2, dc in next dc. Repeat from * (5 ch2 blocks made). Ch 5 turn.
Row 8: dc in first dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) 4 times, ch 5, dc in next dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) 3 times, ch 5 turn.
Rows 9: dc in first dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) for each dc across, except ALSO dc in 3rd ch of ch 5 group
Rows 10 thru 12: repeat row 2
Row 13 (last row before joining): repeat row 2, except ch 3 turn.
Bring the starting edge into apposition with the last row worked and do the join as follows:
