I've been very busy too! I hope you get to see some pretty fireworks, Maggey. Have you found a nice gentleman to accompany you?

The last display I saw was from a plane. Unfortunately, it's not as magnificent as it sounds when you're flying 35,000 feet above it.

Haha, no... I haven't looked, but I'm pretty positive I'll be working that evening or day, at least!

What about you? Will you be working or do you have the night off?

I will be working too. I have a night flight to catch to Borginia on the 3rd.

Is there perhaps anything you want me to bring back for you? I think I'll have time to do a little shopping while I'm there.

That's so nice of you, Rhoda! Hmm... I don't have any fancy collections going but...

A friend of mine just gave me his coffee maker, and some Cohdopian coffee! Maybe it would be fun to try another kind from Borginia? What do you think?

Fireworks are great, pal!

I even tried making some of my own a few years back. Didn't go too well though. Those things are not as simple to make as they seem!

That sounds really dangerous, sir! But yes, they're so fun!

I'm assuming you didn't get hurt, but you should try to be a little more careful if you try this year! Those can start fires, you know?

Yeah, pal. I know! They don't call 'em fireworks for nothing, right?

And don't worry. I extinguished the flames before it got out of hand. Good thing my fire detector's busted. It probably would have caused a big racket.

... Oh! Well... I guess that is a good thing, in that case!

It kind of reminds me though, I should really check to see if mine are working and need new batteries, or not!

Ah! That is exciting. I so enjoy the States' Independence Day. Such a festive time.

I especially love the fireworks, and I hope I'll have the opportunity to see them up close this year. Do you enjoy your job at the park? It sounds like such a fun place to work.

Yes sir! Even on the weekdays the park is pretty busy, so I don't hurt for hours at all!

I really love watching fireworks, too. Does your country have many holidays where you can see them? I hope you find somewhere nice to watch them from this year, sir!

Indeed, we do have a holiday that involves fireworks. Or--we did. It was called Cohdopia Day. However, it was no longer celebrated after Cohdopia split. The government is planning to reintroduce it as Reunification Day, but they haven't been able to decide on a date.

Some towns and cities also have fireworks displays on Primidux Day and Brenthis Ino Day.

Thank you for the good wishes. I'll try my best to find a good vantage point! I hope you have a lovely holiday as well.
