I'm into the concept of canning. I have no reason for this, but I enjoy making things and then shoving them into jars where they will stay and turn into something delicious I can eat much later on

actually, that sounds like a lot of fun and a good idea. I usually do cookies for everyone for Christmas along with a small gift. Everyone seems to really love the idea of eating more than a gift they may not really use. :-)
