So my order from Dollmore finally arrived yesterday! Hurray!! I'm so excited. E.C. got new boots, which she LOVES! I've moved up from being refered to as "that girl" to her trying to remember my name :) teehee. I took most of these pictures weeks ago, but I accidently deleted some shots of Dorian when I was downloading photos so I had to wait for a weekend when I could take photos during the day (for the lighting). I went to Denver Doll today to get a present for Molly (Mie'Aga's Kay Kidz Poppy) and decided to pick up a pair of glass eyes for Thomas. I LOVE his acrylic eyes, but they just don't photograph well unless you are in his face, which I rarely am for photostories. I am amazed at what a difference it makes! My Husband's family had a Christmas celebration in downtown Denver this weekend so the following is what happened as I was getting ready to leave. Ugh! I'm so stumped on what to do next with the dolls. They have normal interaction everyday of course, but that isn't exactly entertaining to make into photo stories. All of the photo stories I like best on DOA have a definite plot with characters not "in the real world" but my dolls aren't like that so I'm having trouble with defining a plot ( Read more... )

It was such a beautiful day that I took everyone to the park to fire some guns...since that seems to be a popular hobby with this crew. So I really wanted to take these pictures yesterday. Of course, by the time I got home from work the sun had gone down so the lighting in all of the pictures was indoor overhead lights and without the flash everything was a yellowish orange color, so I had to try my hand at recoloring pictures.
