IDOL BABY!!!!
I went down to Seattle for the weekend..for the American Idol concert...with my mother..and her boyfriend..it went relatively well...we didn't kill eachother...which I always consider a plus...though I doubt we ever would...but yeah...the concert was quite disappointing...everyone was very much single...and they were all mentally somewhere else...I hate that bout people...they'd rather someone be somehwere physically then mentally..regardless of whether they're distracted or not...though it was cool, afterwards, we were walking out of the seating section into the stadium isle section, and the idols had to walk under the metal walkways to get to where they were going..and we were on the walkways and heard screaming so i stopped and looked to see what it was...generally at a concert if you hear screaming the concert headliner is nearby...so i looked..and bout 5 of the top ten idols were walkin down below into their dressing room...and then we seen taylor hick's head peek around the corner, disappear, then he came out and took a walk towards the other metal walkways..i think security bugged him, cuz he looked back at them, walked a couple feet further, looked back, and walked back. was nice...we took pictures of him takin pictures of us...was kinda cool...but he was one of the ones who mentally was not there...he was distracted...as was half the tour...one of them woulda made a better stripper than idol..she was more concerned with dancing with a chair then singing her songs...was quite sad..and the sound sucked...completely. the only person to overcome it was elliott...he sounds amazing without all the pressure of the idol competition.
Other than that we did some shopping and exploring of seattle...i got an awesome deal on Bailey's coming back across the border which I'm excited about. It was good just getting away for a few days...can't wait till October.
