HAHAHA. You've got me a bit hooked on Wikipedia too now. When I'm bored, I go on and start learning.

What's your number one favorite web site, if Wikipedia is your second?

White people... Just like an ol' whitty to get sick just in time to spread it round. "People of Puerto Rico- I bring you disease and STD's" Kidding-guh! I'm sure you'll be fine in time for your trip :)

My senior year in high school, I had a favorite team soccer ball, which I ALWAYS had to practice with. Oh, I loved it so. As it was an all-white ball, his name was "Whitey." I would call it by its name, calling dibbs on Whitey @ the beginning of practice, etc. It was like my lucky charm: My shots on goal were always great with the ball.. just the right firmness and texture to catch my cleat in just the right way. I swear to you, I am feeling completely nostalgic about that ball right now, almost as if it were a dearly departed family pet. Oh, Whitey, why did DeeDee have to ruin you in my absence? Tear ...

Also, I thought about the historical significance of your comment. I, a Euro-descendant, am traveling to Latin America, where I will spread my disease and sickness around the island, much like the Iberians did 500 years ago, killing millions of indigenous peoples. Oh, the travesty. Why cannot I escape this tragic historical legacy?

I totally agree!! Knowledge shouldn't only be available to the few who have a student ID, etc. The written word, in most of its forms, should be available to all. (A discussion on the "everyone" who has internet access must be saved for later... so many are still left out).

I stand in solidarity with your nerdiness
