NC life 2 weeks in

This move feels slower than any other move.  Practically a snails pace .From the selection of city, to home, to moving in, getting back to work.  We have been here exactly 2 weeks, and I just got my hangers to unpack my closet today.  Some how if my clothes are unpacked, then I feel like I can relax.  It's usually the first thing I do when I get to

When we left SF, we gave away/sold most of our stuff that I wasn't in love with. Leaving us with just a bed and a few small things. S's Grandmother passed away last September so we've had a storage unit full of inherited furniture waiting for us in Virginia until we decided on a location. Once we had a move in date, we could pull the trigger on the movers. To save money, we are sharing a truck with a few other cross-continental movers, so it's taking a good long time to cross coasts.
