...Um, having no friends is a bad thing? Then again, I guess Scorpius is far too extreme.
Here I thought Albus would never enter the story. And James. Oh, I can't wait the next chapter. Poor Scorpius, having to deal with James and Ron at the same time.

I'm very flattered by your comments about Rose. She is very much a product of both her parents, both the good and the not-so-good, which makes her such a wonderfully dynamic character to work with.

I love Rose and Scorpius here; her reaction to his childhood, and his defense of it, are so perfectly in character, and the way in which they kept near-missing real intimacy was just lovely. And of course I kept wishing one of them (or their mothers) would just cast a Confundus on Ron. Or a Stunner. ;-)
And, of course, James is a wonderful jerk. :-D
