Thank you so much! I'm fascinated by the telepathy of Vulcans and its associations with touch, and have spent a lot of time wondering how that would play itself out when dealing with people who like to touch all the time. I'm pleased you picked up on that particular detail.

Thank you! I find Uhura a fascinating character and love the opportunity fic provides to explore her personality and background in greater depth. I don't plan on continuing this particular scenario, but I will almost certainly be writing more about Uhura, both as an individual and in terms of her relationship with Spock. Thanks for reading (your prompt lists, btw, have engendered numerous plot bunnies, though none have come to fruition yet - I'm a slow writer and need time to assimilate and absorb information before I feel comfortable enough to write about new characters).
