To a certain extent, I feel as if the hatred against the marginalized gets worse before it gets better when the government intervenes like this. If you believe that [insert group here] is lazy and useless, but you have to hire him/her to make your quotas, you will pressure the poor bastard. This harassment will downgrade an otherwise productive person to a less productive person. Eventually, public sentiment will even out... for the most part... unless you're in some backwater... or a Michael Bay film ( ... )

Thanks for the comments guys! I don't have much more to add.
"Don't Ask Don't Tell and the Defense of Marriage Act need to go" I agree completely! "Equal protection under the law" means equal protection under the law.
