Same way you'd transport fish you caught on a fishing trip...a cooler full of the pond water. But you might want to use a net instead of a fishing rod. ;)

Any idea on how to catch the little buggers without killing them?

They're about 1/4 of an inch long, if that.

They should be okay with a regular aquarium net. It just means going through the water a lot. I used to catch tadpoles that small and they were fine. If you're concerned, though, wait until just before you guys move so they'll be as big as possible.

Never one to disappoint, you still managed to disturb me.

You know that Koi are dirtier than Catfish, right?

I used to work in a fish shop where they sold koi. Every time I looked at them swimming in their tank I felt hungry. :)

I have never eaten catfish. Maybe I should try that :)

Koi can amazingly last through a lot. Glad to hear you're a proud father. :P

Well...Koi are tough. They're basically glorified Carp...so they're impossible to kill, unless you pull em out of the water and leave em to dry.

Was really looking for a way to catch the little ones, though.

They're so small, a net won't do it.

They're like, a quarter of an inch long.
