Okay, I need some help from all you enablers out there. I've searched my feelings and decided against buying a BF Olive. However, I do still want to have a BJD of Heather from Silent Hill 3 (one of my favorite characters in the game world). Problem is, I'm having a hard time finding a sculpt that would suit her. Narae could work, but the price of the faceplate I'd need scares me. As does French resin. =/

They come in urethane now, too, but as for the price... yeah. x.x What faceplate were you thinking of?

The 1/3 opened eyed, or possibly 2/3. Meh. Maybe one day when I'm rich and famous. Riiiiight...

My two cents... I think Katie's lips are too curvy and her nose too sharp to be Heather... I was looking at minisup yisol, but her eyeshape is totally wrong, so unless you bought the sleeping and had it modded...I dont think so.

Mayu however may work... http://souldoll.com/shop/step1.php?number=1299 Lots of naked shots O the boday there so you can get an idea...fingers seem pretty delicate. She is done up very innocent in those pics, but I think with a right proper faceup, she'd be outstanding. I'd save a pic and do a heather overlay in photoshop to see how the features align.

And I agree...thats a tricky sculpt there.... She's almost masculine..you might have more luck looking at male sculpts to put on a girly boday..

Aka...MNF sleeping Seorin with a custom eyejob... lips and nose are really good there...face shape too. ^_^

I wrote a response to this, but it didn't show up apparently...

Mayu is definitely <3, especially after seeing Nephy's at the meet. I did the overlay in PS, and it's... kinda close. Not perfect, but a faceup might do the trick.

But I did the same thing with Seorin, and I think you're right. The facial structure is nearly spot on. Even the eye shape is very close, so I don't think any modding would be necessary. I must ponder this further.

I'm undecided. I ran it by Holly last night, and she thinks I should go with SK Mayu. She has a point, only because the Seorin's eyes are kinda bright-eyed, while Mayu's eyelids are a bit droopy, or "druggy" as she put it, which kinda fits Heather's look.

UGH! Either way, I have to wait and see how well I do at Animazement for funds. Mostly because I promised myself that, no matter what, I'd get some decent clothes/shoes for Lydia, and who knows how much that'll set me back. Once that's done, then I'll make a decision, I suppose.
