Okay, well... my plans to go to the steampunk ball this Friday may be cancelled, seeing as I badly sprained my ankle this past weekend and I'm hobbling around on crutches. BUT! The doc says I should theoretically be able to hobble-walk within 10 days. We'll see. I will, however, get to the Greensboro meet one way or another. *semi-epic pose ( Read more... )

How did you sprain your ankle? Here's hoping it will feel better soon.

OH! And yay resin!! As far as EMS, sometimes it takes a while for it to register, and up to a half day to show that it has moved. what tracking site are you using?

I was at a birthday party this past weekend and lost my footing whilst playing capture the flag. Bleh.

I'm using track-trace.com for the EMS thing. I also tried the site IH links to (forgot what it is). Both have the same result. I'll just try searching again this evening. Thanks!

I checked it this morning, and some info is up. I'm curious, though, if there's a better way to track this? It says it's "guaranteed delivery by the 27th", but that doesn't really tell me which day it will actually arrive.

This be frustrating... yet exciting.

Heh, I just tracked the flight, and it will arrive in Anchorage, Alaska in about an hour. Isn't technology wonderful? ^_^

I'm hoping that it actually gets delivered BEFORE the guarantee date. I've seen several folks on the IH threads say theirs was speedier than expected. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...

I've had EMS tracking not work for a couple days after I have recieved it. And so goes my never ending hate of the postal sysyem in general.

Take care of that ankle boy! How are we to be chasing after ghosties if you are all crutchified?!

Crutchified, indeed. I'm getting sick of depending on these stupid things. *kicks crutches and yelps in pain*

The EMS thing says the delivery is guaranteed by the 27th... which happens to be the same date as the meet... T__T Figures.
