Title: Drabbles: Push/Pull
Author: Maharet
Fandom/Pairing: X-men. Rogue/Kitty
Rating: Probably a PG, soft M (Australian ratings)
Author’s Notes I wrote these yesterday. For those of you that aren’t as obsessive as I, and therefore possibly don’t know much about her: Kitty
is also known as Shadowcat. She can ‘phase’ (walk through things). She got little cameo bits in the movies: in the first movie, she was the last student out of Xavier’s office when Wolverine first meets him -- she runs through the door. In the second movie, when the school is attacked, she drops through her bed and the floor below to escape the soldiers.
In fandom, Kitty is Rogue’s friend. In my world, Summer Glau got the part.
Push/Pull
They experiment as much as they dare: stroking, rubbing and licking, cotton-sheet taste in their mouths, making their tongues taste like dust.
Iceman compliments Kitty on how long her hair is now and Kitty smiles her thanks and doesn't tell him about sweeping it over one shoulder and, heart pounding, trailing it down Rogue's bare back while she muffles her moans into the pillow.
She doesn't tell him what it's like to take the sheet back to bed with her, after, just because it smells of Rogue. With her eyes closed, Kitty can pretend she's falling asleep next to her.
~*~
Unable to bear it one night, Kitty presses her lips against Rogue's mouth, pushes her tongue against Rogue's clenched teeth. The pull is immediate.
It steals Kitty's breath, is pulling everything else with it, is turning her inside out in an effort to get at everything, when Rogue falls through the bed and hits the floor with a thud, scrambling away across the room, eyes wide with horror, while Kitty wheezes and tries to remember how to breathe.
For weeks after, Rogue can feel Kitty's desire twisting inside her body, mingling with her own. It is almost like intimacy. Almost.
