I'm starting to feel more comfortable posting things as public, and viewable to all. So I'll just ramble on about school since it's probably the least interesting thing going on for me right now.

So, I joined uppityundergrad and I debated pasting this there, but decided against it.

We had to read Island of the Blue Dolphins in uhm...it was either 5th or 6th grade. I remember liking it. Secret Garden we read in 4th and I love it.

I've read all the ones you've read, plus Island of the Blue Dolphins (which is a personal favorite of mine from way back when) and The Secret Garden. I haven't even heard of the other three, though.

Also, I'm a little sad to see some children's books that I would think would be in a class like that. I think I'm underwhelmed by your list of books to read, too.
