Crown Tourney-WTF?

Other than the fact that we're not allowed to bring presences to the event, does anyone out there know anything about where and when Crown Tourney is?  The website has absolutely no info on it- not even the site address.  We'd really like to know when the site opens, when the processional starts and so forth.  It would also be nice to have some ( Read more... )

Try this URL

http://ca.geocities.com/caerdraeth/Location.html

Holland Landing Community Centre 19513 Yonge Street
Site opens: 9 AM Site Closes 11:00 PM
(Note that this is not the traditional curling rink site)

The web site works by clicking on the links on the left side and using the drop down menu. Not an obvious item. The web site could use some improvement. :) Enjoy the event. I can't make it since it is L's third birthday.

Man, I think it would be wayyyy cool, and somehow appropriate, to have your Crown Tourney on a curling rink :)

IIRC we have done that already.

It is a really great site. Large hall, overhead door at one end for loading and ventilation. At the other end there is a raised room with a long glass window. The bar is in there so you can drink and watch the activity in the main hall. Outside there is a large park area. So if the weather is nice we can fight outside. The site is only 3 km of the 400 so it is easy to get to. I hope they have not permanently lost the curling rink.

It is a poorly designed website. However, if I read it correctly, procession starts at 11am. Personal presences ARE allowed, but not in the hallway or outdoors.
