They've taught a cluster of rat neurons in a petri dish to fly an F-22 simulator program at the University of Florida. This is really neat, in that creepy sort of way. It's part of a project that is trying to integrate biological components into computers. I guess I should read more because I had no idea they were that far along in their ( Read more... )
